I am going to make Roadblock at School a series. One; because it saves me the words when choosing a title, and two; I can organize all my happenings at school into this series. So here goes.
It has only been the first week of school. I am not a freshman into University. That was last year, but I am already stressed. Not from the work I have right now, but from the work that is to come. There is a final project that is in conjunction with a competition. The criteria for this competition requires at least 1 architecture degree candidate and 1 engineering degree candidate. My school is a secluded building specifically for Architecture, but the University we belong to has a large main campus where everyone else resides, including the engineers. It takes 1 hour by public bus transit to arrive at the main campus, not to mention that I don't know many engineers who will risk his exam period for a competition with a slim chance of winning. We will receive marks for our project/competition, but if the engineer loses he receives nothing. We will see how this goes.

Roadblock at School: Actual Roadblock
So far I am keeping up with my theme, but it has only been my fourth title and I am running out of words to choose from. I am going to begin some actual blogging now, so let us see how this goes.
It was distressing to find a roadblock on one of the bridges near my school. It is the bridge I take everyday to cross the river to arrive at school. Luckily today was a Saturday so I was only going to school to meet up with a bookseller and find some library books aswell. However, I had to take a detour and walk to another bridge in order to cross the river. What is sad though is today was a Open House for many buildings in the area, and I feel the roadblock was detrimental to my school's effort to spread its awareness. I just hope everything is finished for tomorrow because I would hate having to take another detour again.

Crossroads with the Blogger
I am trying to liven up this blog by making some substantial posts. I do not know how long I can keep this up, but I hope to use a similar theme throughout my blog -- "The Bridge to Moral Happiness", "Beginning of a Long Journey", "Crossroads with the Blogger" -- tell me if you spot the theme. Anyways, I will give a little more information about myself.
I am a Chinese-Canadian; born in Hong Kong and raised in Canada. I am currently studying Architecture as my undergraduate degree; I am not very old to be honest. I take pride in Canada's mosaic culture. Although I am raised in Canada, I pay very little attention to North American pop culture. Most of my attention is directed toward the East. I enjoy watching Anime, Dramas (HK,Taiwan, Japanese, Korean), and listening to Canto/K-pop (although my music can also range into Mando/J-pop). My Architecture background may give it away but I find myself versed in both the mathematics/sciences and the arts. Whether I like it or not, I sit on the fence on a lot of things. Or more simply put, I am indecisive.

Beginning of a Long Journey
I don't expect writing a blog to be easy at all. There are may things to take into consideration and I am hoping I will learn about blogging as I continue with "The Bridge to Moral Happiness". To give a description about this blog; the name of this blog is based off the literal translation of my name. "The Bridge to Moral Happiness" describes me quite well. I always believed there are choices we make to progress in life. You decide whether your choices are right or wrong, and you decide if you are happy or not. "The Bridge to Moral Happiness" is how I find happiness -- the good kind of happy, if you will.
